Afternoon Movie

Now showing on the big screen…

On the third Tuesday of every month at 1:00pm the Robert Rowe Public Library endeavors to bring an entertaining movie to our patrons.

The movie to be shown July 20 is “Beautifully Broken”. This film is about three fathers fight to save their families as their lives become intertwined in an unlikely journey across the globe, where they learn the healing power of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Sock Knitting Group

A Sock Knitting Group meets on the third Tuesday of each month in the library Community Room from 9:30am – 12:00pm.

 

Chair Yoga for Seniors

Chair yoga for seniors will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00am. Dress comfortably. There will be no class on the third Tuesday of each month.

U. F. O. Group (Unfinished Object) Craft Group

Every Monday morning there is a UFO Craft Group in the Community Room.  Patrons are invited to bring unfinished objects and work on them in a social setting from 10:00am to 12:00pm.  Examples of unfinished projects could be knitting, crocheting, cross stitch, embroidery, or any other interest.

 

Grab and Go Kits

Grab and Go Kits are craft kits designed for crafting fun at home. Come to the library and pick up your kit while supplies last. Available at various times through the year.

Drum Fit Class

March to the beat of your drum! Drumming to a great tune will leave you smiling, sweating, and feeling great. It is both a cardio and toning fun workout. It brings together drumsticks (we use pool noodles), an exercise ball and a stand to create one of the most fun ways to keep healthy.  Drum Fit Class will meet on Fridays at 10:00am.   If you have an questions call the library at 815-496-2031.
