A new literacy and news database available to you. Dogo News is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and is design to assist teachers and students, Kindergarten through 12th grade. DOGO News covers Language Arts, Science, Social Studies, STEM, sports and the environment. Available in Spanish and English. You have access to 8,500 news articles, read aloud and read along audios, photos and videos, quizzes and vocabulary games, and an auto citation generator for reference projects. Unlimited access to all.
Teen Book Boxes are back. Teen Book Boxes will be available starting July 1st!
This is a subscription series where on the first of each month, readers will get a box which includes a
book and other fun items like candy, bookmarks, pencils and activity sheets.
Teens do not have to have a RWR card to participate.
Applications are available online or in the entryway of the library. Please put completed forms in the dropbox.

Robert W. Rowe Teen Advisory Board – (TAB)
A Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a service that gets Teens involved in what’s happening at their local library. Middle and high school students (aged 10-18) are invited to participate and share ideas for future programs and activities.
The TAB will meet the last Friday of every month at 4:00 pm for planning and are encouraged to help set up as well as participate in the Teen programs and activities that are planned.
Requirements
- Members of TAB must get parent/guardian permission
- Must have a valid RWR library card
- Commit to serving a 1 year term
- Participate in Winter and Summer Reading
Benefits
- Opportunity to provide input for library decisions related to Teens
- Develop marketable leadership skills
- Participation can be listed on job, scholarship, and college applications.
